Carbon damascuc and mixed : Mixed carbons are made from fragments of carbon fibers mixed with epoxy resin where different dyes and or precious metals (gold, silver, bronze) have been added. The mixed carbons have magnificent designs while maintaining very good mechanical resistance.We offer two types of Damascus Carbon: Forged and Normal. Forged damask is composed of finer fragments than its “cousin”. Damascus carbon like mixed carbon does not have a mesh, it is carbon fragments which are compressed with each other and bonded with epoxy resin. The difference with mixed carbon is in the concentration of fragments, which is greater in damascus carbon. Shred carbon fiber glow for Mixed carbon is different from woven / taffeta and twill carbons. Carbon fibers are not woven together. These are fragments of carbon fibers that are mixed with resin (colored or not) and can incorporate fragments of precious metals such as gold, copper and silver. It gives a very nice rendering.
