Other name: giant deer, irish deer

Origin: stabilized in Denmark by Raffir

Comment: I suggest you discover fossils of one of the largest deer of all time. A real mastodon! Disappeared several thousand years ago (about 5 to 10,000 years ago). This deer with extraordinary proportions could measure more than 2 meters at the withers and with antlers measuring more than 3.50 meters in wingspan. The females are much smaller and did not carry antlers. The giant deer lived mainly in open tundra and steppe. Many specimens have been found in Ireland, hence their vernacular names: Irish Elan.

The products we offer are fossils dated from the Pleistocene geological era (before last geological period), it extends from 2.58 million years to 12,000 years BC. the fossils were found by ivory hunters in their quarries (no hunting).
