Damasteel : Damascus bar rectified 3.05mm

In partnership with the company Fontenille Pataud, dealer approved by DAMASTELL®, we offer a selection of stainless damask. DAMASTEEL® products are shipped from Thiers by the company Fontenillle Pataud.

Milled bars of 3.05 mm, this thickness allows you to avoid grinding and is particularly suitable for the manufacture of folding knife blades which are most often made with 3 mm thick springs.

Damasteel® steels are delivered in the annealed condition. That is, after rolling, they undergo a final heat treatment step in the steelworks to standardize the structure and release tensions. It also lowers its hardness to allow you to easily perform the various shaping steps (cutting, drilling, grinding and polishing).

Once your blade has been shaped, you will have to carry out the various hardening and tempering steps in order to give it the desired mechanical and aesthetic characteristics.
