Robin wood, also known as false acacia, is a high quality cutlery material. The robin tree is a native North American tree that was introduced into Europe in the 17th century to be used as an ornamental plant. Today, robin wood is appreciated for its beauty, durability and unique properties.

Robinier's magnifier is a type of robin wood that is very popular for cutlery. The magnifying glass is a natural outgrowth on the tree, created by abnormal cell growth. This irregular growth gives the wood a unique swirling pattern, making it a choice material for high quality knife sleeves.

Robin wood is also very resistant to water and rot, making it ideal for knives used outdoors and in damp environments. Robinier wood is also easy to work, allowing to create knife sleeves of different shapes and sizes to meet all preferences.

In addition to being used for cutlery, robin wood is also appreciated for its beauty and durability in other areas, such as furniture construction and parquet manufacturing. Robin wood is an environmentally friendly material, as the tree is able to fix the nitrogen from the air, thus reducing the need to use fertilizers in the crop.
