Description: The 3MTM TrizactTM 237AA abrasive strips are designed for cutlery looking for high precision sharpening and a careful blade finish. Equipped with the exclusive 3M microreplication technology, these bands are made of micron-scaled aluminium oxide particles, arranged in pyramids. These pyramidal structures fragment under sharpening pressure, constantly revealing fresh cutting edges to maintain constant and controlled sharpening, essential for sharp and ready-to-use blades.
The X-weight semi-rigid canvas holder provides optimal comfort when sharpening blades, even on stainless steels or carbon steels, while offering excellent heat resistance. These strips are particularly recommended for precision grinding and intermediate polishing, allowing to achieve a careful finish before final polishing.
Applications for cutlery:
- Intermediate cutting and finishing of blades in stainless steel, carbon steel or Damascus steel
- Preparation of blades for final polishing, avoiding heating and deformation of sharp edges
- Adapted to contours and curves of blades, ensuring a scratch-free finish
