Comments: Buis is a shrub from southern Europe and western Asia. It is a very hard wood, dense and homogeneous often used in shooting. It sticks and colores well and takes a very nice polish. It is suitable for engraving, tool handles, luthery accessories, rules, inlays. Its magnifiers, or dust, are sought after and valued in cutlery.

Very good. A tiny downside (I'm nitpicking) regarding the small piece of tape used to bind the slabs: on such wood, its glue leaves a visible mark, I find that a shame; but it disappears with sanding the surface, it doesn't permanently spoil the wood. (Translated review)
