INCLUSION
Acrylic resin, also known as acrylic glass, plexiglass, or for purists, polymethyl methacrylate, is a two-component resin that is not easy to work with. Indeed, it requires a homogeneous mix for a certain duration before being placed under high pressure to induce polymerization. The latter is the chemical reaction that allows for the creation of a hard, homogeneous, and transparent material for acrylic.
The main advantage of acrylic glass is its exceptional transparency, comparable to glass. It is also very easy to machine and resistant to products used in dishwashers.
Inclusion in acrylic resin is therefore a great way to enhance creations that will be very durable.
