Uses : Sheffield's stainless steel. Originally designed as a razor blade steel, the SF100 is a fine-grained stainless steel, with a great combination of hardness, corrosion resistance, easy reshaping and polishing. Similar to AEB-L/13C26/14C28N, it is an excellent economic alternative.

Thermal treatment:
- Trempe at 1080° for 30 minutes then air / for a full oven
- Income
o for 2 hours at 175°C for 59HRc can rise to 62HRc if liquid nitrogen cryogenic quench for 20 minutes after soaking and before yield.
o for 2 hours at 220°C for 60HRc
