Rosettes and threads

Rosettes and wires are essential mounting accessories for cutlery. They are used to attach the blade handle to the knife and to reinforce the structure of the handle itself. Rosettes are flat discs of brass, steel or copper that are inserted into the handle to cover the holes through which the mounting screws pass. Wires, on the other hand, are hollow brass, steel or copper cylinders that are inserted into the handle to reinforce the mounting screws and prevent the handle from cracking or breaking.

At Mercorne, we offer a wide selection of rosettes and wires to meet the needs of all types of knifemakers, both professional and amateur. We offer rosettes and wires in a variety of materials including brass, stainless steel and copper. We also have a variety of sizes available to meet different mounting needs.
