Briar burl
Latin name: Betula pubescens.
burls represent more than 800 varieties of dicothelydoneas plants belonging to the ericaceas family which includes also blue-berries, rhododendrons... Briar burls essentially grow in siliceous grounds. They can be sometimes shrubs or little shrubs and sometimes real bushes. Briar burls' flowers are set in bunches and most of the time are pink but they can also be white (Erica arbora) or greeny (Erica scoparia).
