Carbide milling cutter with a diameter of 4 mm is a pilot with a diameter of 1.95 mm. Specially designed for our M2 screws with countersunk heads.

Milling cutter made in France from a Guhring (Germany) brand tap.

The countersinks are used to carry out a counterbore. That is to say, to countersink a screw head. If you want to use a flat or domed head screw but do not want the head of the screw to protrude from your handle, you must use a countersink.

  1. start by tapping
  2. use the countersink to drill along the length of the screw head (only a few millimeters)
  3. aim your screw
