Comments: A stabilized wooden handle offers the beauty of wood and the resistance of a resin. Stabilized wood is a wood that is saturated with colourless or coloured synthetic resin. This results in a material having all the aesthetic qualities of natural wood without having the wrong sides: deterioration by external factors (humidity, temperature variations, dirt). The polishing leads to a shine that reveals better than a varnish, all surface details such as murres. Only the density changes, it always exceeds 1: even the lightest woods, as the poplar does not float once stabilized. They have become as dense as ebony and other iron woods.
