Camel bone cerfé | Handcrafted knife handle | Mercorne

Cerfé camel bone is a singular cutlery material: camel bone (Camelus dromedarius), of Indian origin, whose surface is sculpted and then stained to imitate the characteristic texture of deer antler, both visually and to the touch. This artisanal technique produces a handle with regular relief and a sure grip, with warm tones ranging from beige to deep brown depending on the stain applied.

At Mercorne, deer camel bone is selected for the density and regularity of its bone structure. Each plate is made from solid bone, cut in our workshop in France, and offered as a ready-to-use pair. With 39 references available, the catalog covers a wide range of sizes and shades to meet the requirements of artisan cutlers and enthusiasts alike. Any doubts about your choice? Olivier can personally answer your technical questions.
