With its iridescent look the mother-of-pearl is a very popular material in cutlery and craft art. Our pawns are available in different dimensions (diameters of the tablet). These are lots of at least 20 pieces.
We propose 4 categories:
Standard : 2 sides of the pawn are in mother-of-pearl, thickness approximately 1.2mm
Gross : 1 face of the pawn is in mother-of-pearl, the other is raw, thickness less than 1.2mm
Thickness: 2 mother-of-pearl faces, minimum thickness 2 mm (limited stock: rare)
XXL : 2 mother-of-pearl faces, minimum thickness 4 mm (very limited stock : very rare)

Many shells naturally produce mother-of-pearl, an iridescent layer in the inner part of the shell. It is a difficult subject to work but has a magnificent final rendering. Mother-of-pearl chips or pellets can be drilled to become shirt buttons for example.
