Universal Brush Paste: COMPO PONCE

Use: preparation and finishing work with a good cut 

Materials concerned: all types of materials (steel, stainless steel, wood and soft material)

Composition: Emeri and aluminium oxide, refined beef tallow, stearin and paraffin

Texture: Very fat, very strong grip and very dirty on the support, resists very badly to heat.

Media: felt, sisal (including natural), rigid cotton  and scotch brite.

Aluminium oxide: also called Alumina. It is a metallic oxide, the 2nd most abundant of the earth after silica.  It is an odourless white powder insoluble in water. This metallic oxide is used for brushing, polishing as it has good cutting power and low shine. 

Emeri is an abrasive that is used for abrasive strips and polishing pasta for example. It's  a metamorphic rock composed mainly of corundum and spinel. This rock has been used since ancient times as an abrasive. (Metamorphism = all changes in a rock due to temperature and pressure conditions different from that in which it was formed). Used for its strong cutting power.
