Camel bone is an exceptional natural material, long used in oriental craft traditions for the manufacture of knife handles. Dense and homogeneous, its fine grain enables mirror-quality polishing. Double coloring" refers to a specific treatment that gives the bone two contrasting shades, creating an elegant and unique visual effect on each handle.
Appreciated by cutlers for its dimensional stability and refined aesthetic appeal, camel bone can be worked with conventional cutlery tools: sawing, sanding and polishing are easy. After finishing, the surface reveals the natural beauty of the material and the particular contrast of its double coloring. Its hardness gives it excellent resistance to wear over time.
This handle is made up of 2 matched inserts: the pattern on insert 1 corresponds exactly to that on insert 2. The price indicated is for the complete handle (2 inserts).
We have specialized in materials for knife handles since 1992.
