Handle camel Bone double colouring

Camel bone is an exceptional natural material, appreciated by cutlers for its density, hardness and ability to reveal unique organic textures. Its fine, homogeneous structure gives it excellent resistance to machining: it cuts, sands and polishes easily, accepting both matt and glossy finishes.

This handle benefits from a double coloring process carried out entirely in-house by Mercorne, at La Monnerie-le-Montel (Puy-de-Dôme). The in-house process combines two complementary shades applied throughout, for a contrasting finish that is stable over time and resistant to daily wear and tear. Each piece is unique: the natural pattern of the bone, combined with the double coloring, guarantees a result impossible to reproduce identically.

This handle is made up of 2 matching plates: the pattern on plate 1 corresponds exactly to that on plate 2. The price shown is for the complete handle (2 plates).
