1084 is an excellent carbon steel for beginners and seasoned professionals alike. A good combination of toughness and wear resistance. Easy to forge. This steel can easily be heat-treated at home. Sold rolled, pickled and annealed.
All our steels are delivered flattened and stress-relieved (to reduce wear during heat treatment)
