Indeed, it requires a homogeneous mixture and a certain duration before placing it under high pressure to cause polymerization. Polymerization is the chemical reaction that produces a hard, homogeneous and transparent material for acrylic.

The advantage of acrylic glass is above all its exceptional transparency, close to glass. It is also very easy to machine and resists the products used in dishwashers.
