This material is made up of a black back in Plexiglas resin (PMMA) from a watch mechanism which is applied to the back with a fi and then we add 5 mm of Plexiglas resin. The result is striking and unique.

PMMA resin: Acrylic resin, also known as acrylic glass, plexi glass or, for purists, poly methacrylateacetate, is a two-component resin that is not easy to apply. It needs to be homogeneously mixed for a certain length of time before being placed under high pressure to trigger polymerisation. Polymerisation is the chemical reaction that produces a hard, homogeneous and transparent acrylic material.

The advantage of acrylic glass is above all its exceptional transparency, which is close to that of glass. It is also very easy to machine and is resistant to the products used in dishwashers.
