Description

Woolly mammoth bone(Mammuthus primigenius) is an exceptional fossil material extracted from the permafrost of Siberia, tens of thousands of years old. Its natural hues - cream, beige, brown and sometimes turquoise or bluish - are the result of gradual mineralization over thousands of years. Stabilized in the Mercorne workshop using a secret process perfected since 1992, this fossil bone gains in strength and dimensional stability while revealing all the richness of its natural veins. The plate can be cut, machined and polished with conventional woodworking tools to produce knife handles of absolute rarity. As a unique product, you receive exactly the plate you photographed.

We have specialized in materials for knife handles since 1992.
