Description

A noble and historic material in cutlery, the crown (or antler tip) is located at the base of a deer’s antlers, where the antler flares out. It is the ideal centerpiece for crafting exceptional fixed-blade knife handles, sturdy pommels, or unique works of art.

100% natural material: The antlers come from the animal’s natural shedding process (annual loss of antlers). No animals are harmed in their collection.

The antler crown works very well with traditional cutlery tools (backstand, files, saws). For the best results, be careful not to sand the outer grain too much in order to preserve the raw, wild look that gives this material its charm. After shaping, a light polish with a cloth will restore the wood’s natural luster.
