Handle of stabilized morta (fossilized wood) - Raffir

Latin name: Quercus robur

Morta is a fossilized wood found in an anoxic zone. An anoxic zone is a decrease in oxygen in a medium (sediment, water, etc.). Morta is an imputable person. It takes on a very pretty appearance once polished, approaching ebony. Morta is used in cutlery, for the manufacture of pipes or sculptures and in luthery for head sills.
