Mammoth molar (Mammuthus primigenius) is an exceptional fossil material, highly prized by cutlers the world over for its characteristic diamond or scale-like honeycomb structures. This specimen has been stabilized using the BY RAFFIR process, which impregnates the fossil tissue at its core with a blue-colored resin, reinforcing the material in depth and giving it a bright, luminous color.

Stabilization greatly facilitates processing: sawing, milling and polishing are all possible with conventional tools. Each handle is unique due to the natural structures of the fossil - no reproduction is possible. The end result is a handle of rare beauty, combining the depth of blue with the richness of ancestral fossil motifs.

This handle is made up of 2 matching plates: the pattern on plate 1 corresponds exactly to that on plate 2. The price indicated is for the complete handle (2 plates).
