Handle ivory of mammouth

Woolly mammoth ivory (Mammuthus primigenius) is an exceptional fossilized material, derived from the tusks of mammoths found in Siberian permafrost. Its natural hues, ranging from pure ivory to golden beige with shades of brown depending on the degree of fossilization, give it a timeless beauty much appreciated in cutlery. Stabilized in the Mercorne workshop using an exclusive, odorless process (recipe improved since 2020), it gains in density, homogeneity and resistance to humidity. It is easy to work with conventional woodworking tools, and takes on an extremely fine mirror polish. Each handle is unique: the customer receives exactly the product photographed. This handle is made up of 2 matching plates: the pattern on plate 1 corresponds exactly to that on plate 2. The price quoted is for the complete handle (2 inserts).
