Natural bone is one of the oldest materials in cutlery. Used for thousands of years to make knife handles, it continues to seduce craftsmen for its warmth in the hand, its slightly porous surface that ensures an excellent grip, and its natural veins that make each piece unique. Camel, giraffe, zebra, kudu or ostrich bone: each species offers its own texture and density, opening up a wide spectrum of creative possibilities.

At Mercorne, natural and stabilized bones have been selected, prepared and cut in France for over 34 years.
